How do i manually update dota 2 to 7.00? i do not think there is a way to download manually. for me if my download is taking too long i would right click the game and select the manage downloads option ,pause the download and start it up again. a tip to boost the download speed would be to make sure the download is the only thing you are. Why cant just realease some manual patch? so that everytime there is an update we can just download the patch and share it to other pc clients or players? when i open my steam the update pop out..then i updated it..but after i updated it and opened the dota 2...something pop up and says "the game client is out of date....etc.."i restart. You probably dont have it set to auto update then. go to your library, right click dota 2 and go to properties. a box should appear, then click on the updates tab, and see if it sets to auto update.. I downloaded it yesterday and the game is working fine it just asked for a small update. 1.delete dota 2 content from your pc if u have put it on download. 2.now put dota 2 on downlaod again, download 1 mb and close steam. make sure there is no running steam process while extracting the game..
