Find the emoji keyboard in any app that uses the standard keyboard, like mail or messages. to add an emoji: tap the text field, then tap or .; use the gray icons at the bottom of the keyboard to switch emoji themes, or swipe left or right to view more.. Every iphone and ipad can access emoji. but you’ll need to turn the keyboard on first. to do this, just follow these steps: go to settings > general > keyboard. select keyboards, then add new keyboard. scroll through the list and look for emoji, then tap it to select.. World emoji day is this tuesday, and apple has given us a preview of what's coming in the next emoji update. although apple hasn't said exactly when they'll be available, the company just released images of new emojis, which will include more hair options, new animals, and new foods..
